Green Puy lentils with cream


For 6 persons

1 onion
1 carrot
1 leek white
300gr green lentils of the puy
olive oil
salt, pepper
liquid fresh cream

preparation of recipe

chop the onion
slice the carrot and leek
in a saucepan heat a little oil and melt the onion over medium heat for a few minutes
add the carrot and leek
mix, lightly fry and add the lentils, pepper, a bay leaf
cover with enough water to cook the lentils, but be careful not to put too much water in, as there should be very little water left at the end of the cooking time
cook until lentils are tender
add liquid cream and salt and cook for 5 minutes
serve hot.
