COOKING LENTILS WELL
To cook your Green PUY Lentils, you need to know 2 things:
- No pre-soaking required
- Do not add salt to the cooking water as it hardens the lentils and extends the cooking time
To cook your lentils :
- Put the lentils in a large volume of cold unsalted water
- Add a bouquet garni, onion, herbs to your liking
- Allow 20 minutes of cooking time from boiling
- Add salt at the end of the cooking time to suit your taste
- Drain and serve as desired
