COOKING LENTILS WELL

To cook your Green PUY Lentils, you need to know 2 things:

  • No pre-soaking required
  • Do not add salt to the cooking water as it hardens the lentils and extends the cooking time

To cook your lentils :

  • Put the lentils in a large volume of cold unsalted water
  • Add a bouquet garni, onion, herbs to your liking
  • Allow 20 minutes of cooking time from boiling
  • Add salt at the end of the cooking time to suit your taste
  • Drain and serve as desired
