Green Puy lentils with veal Moroccan style

Ingredients:

For 4 people

1 kg of veal meat
500 gr of Lentille Verte du Puy
4 potatoes
4 carrots
3 cloves of garlic
2 tomatoes
1 small can of tomato paste
1 beef stock cube
1 small bunch of fresh coriander
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp of sweet paprika
Salt, pepper

preparation of recipe

Peel the vegetables and wash them well. Mince onion, crush garlic, cut potatoes and carrots.
In a casserole dish, put the oil and brown the onion with the meat, garlic, spices, chopped beef cube and coriander, the small can of tomato paste, salt and pepper. Add a little water and let simmer for a few minutes (15 minutes).
Then add the well-washed green lentils from Le Puy, the chopped potatoes and the chopped carrots.
Cover with water, close the pot and let cook for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve hot with good Moroccan bread
