Field Lentils


For 4 people

2 glasses of green lentils from Le Puy

2 large onions

6 medium tomatoes

salt, pepper

herbs of Provence

olive oil


preparation of recipe

1 - In a frying pan, brown the sliced onions with a tablespoon of olive oil.

2 - Add the lentils and let them brown for a few minutes. Add 3 glasses of cold water and cook for 45 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

3 - After 30 minutes, add the diced tomatoes, a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of herbes de Provence and chopped parsley
